when starting car it has a clicking sound I think its the battery I then have another car to jump itit then starts up

Have alternator tested should be charging at 14 volts if alternator ok it's the battery.

The battery is almost certainly low. As the previous poster said, you should have your charging system checked to see if the battery is bad or it just isn't being charged. Auto Zone checked mine for free and I found out that my alternator was bad.
