Pontiac Montana Transmission oil poured out

I have an '05 Pontiac Montana van. This morning I
came out to see a puddle of transmission oil beneath
my car engine. What could be the reason for this? I
wasn't having any sluggish symptoms while driving.   
The check engine light has been on though.

how to get a engine to turn over after its been sitting. when a boost won't start it how to problem solve
