Pontiac Montana Transmission oil poured out

Asked by Mar 09, 2017 at 09:38 AM about the 2005 Pontiac Montana SV6 Base Minivan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an '05 Pontiac Montana van. This morning I
came out to see a puddle of transmission oil beneath
my car engine. What could be the reason for this? I
wasn't having any sluggish symptoms while driving.
The check engine light has been on though.

sometimes it's just a gasket or drain plug that failed. Don't drive it without the fluid, you will burn the trans up in no time. Have it towed to your nearest garage for repair.
