2006 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L, what would be the belt size needed to bypass the
ac unit, and what would be the new path?

I don't think they make it that easy , perhaps an after market dummy pulley

Yes, the compressor needs to be removed and replaced with a bypass pulley assembly. Jim
