Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have diagnosed my over heat problems
due to a head gasket and bought some blue
devil to put in and want to know if it will
help. The car isn't really worth paying a
mechanic as it is a 1991  Honda civic with
over 264,000 miles on it but I'm tired of
stopping all the time to add coolant and just
need to patch it up enough to get the rest of
my cash to buy a newer Honda. It does not
blow white exhaust and does not run too
rough so any input is appreciated. Thanks!
