Brake lights

I have a 91 honda accord. Yesterday the break
lights stayed on when car is off. I found that
problem to be the brake switch. (Found the pieces
in floor board). I disconnected the battery to save
it. Today I hooked the battery back and no brakes
at all even when I press them. What could be the
problem now?

Did you replaced the brake light switch? Make sure switch is install properly. Also check the fuse for the brake light.

Unhooking the battery has nothing to do with the brakes not working just a coincidence. Check master cylinder if it is empty there is a leak if still full most likely a bad master cylinder.
