Reverse lights and dashboard gauages wont work

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the reverse lights will not work. I have put together some wires that mice have
chewed threw and all the lights work now but the reverse light. Also the Dashboard
light and gauges will not work. i looked at the switches and fuses and all are ok.
What might it be?

your backup light switch is bad, replace it and you should be fine, very common
