how to remove the pressure from the air condition compressor on a 200 expedition

I need to change the ac compressor on my expeditiopn how do I remove the pressure in the lines.

It is illegal to release the refrigerant in to the air. It must be captured with the proper decive by a professional

you need to take to local mechanic and have them evacuate your a/c system, after your repair will have to have system vacuumed down and recharged
