2010 Hyundai Elantra no sound from speaker
I have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra and there is so
sound coming from my speakers. The radio
and everything is lighting up there is just no
sound. I have tried pulling out the fuse and
putting it back in but still nothing. Is there
anything else I can do? Trying to avoid calling
I'm puzzling over this same issue. Mine is a 2013 Elantra, and the issue appeared all of a sudden. I'm wondering whether it has anything to do with something else I've noticed lately. After pushing the power button to power the car off, I've noticed the door chime dinging longer than normal as if something isn't quite set right for park. Hope someone can help us.
This worked for me! Hallelujah! I found this post at https://repairpal.com/no-sound-from- speakers-114: Hyundai Elantra models equipped with navigation units may suddenly stop playing audio from all speakers. This includes sound from CD players, radio, navigation, satellite radio, and telephone calls. All other features may still function properly. This fault requires no part replacement, and is a software glitch that can be rectified by a 'hard reset'. To perform the hard reset, simply disconnect the vehicles negative battery terminal, wait 15 minutes, and reconnect the negative battery terminal.
