Grinding sound when driving

I am not knowledgeable about cars in much of a useful sense, though I'd like
to learn, so I'll do my best to explain the best I can.

So just a couple days ago I started hearing a short grinding sound when I
drive.  It isn't long and constant but happens every rotation of the tires, so it
speeds up and slows down as I do - so it'll be like
*b...b...b...b..b..b.b.b.b.bbbb*- each 'b' being the sound, with the dots
representing length of time in between; each time the sound hits is another
rotation - to get a better idea, think of it like just tapping a note on a piano
without a foot on the pedal and then just speeding up or down but it's a weird
noise that definitely isn't a piano.

I'm sorry if I did an awful job trying to convey this through the internet lol

It doesn't happen when I turn to the left and it seems like it gets slightly
louder when I turn to the right.  I thought I could feel the vibration from it
under my left foot but again, no experience in this field.
