why wont oil drain from my car

drained almost 4 quarts of oil from my cart.  filter out..oil pan empty...dipstick
still showing 2 inches above full mark!  something clogged?  under 100000kms.  
well maintained engine.  If I was to run something down dipstick to try and
unplug could I cause damage?

The dipstick goes past the tube and into the oil pan. I doubt it is clogged up. Try wiping the stick and checking again.

oil pan and dipstick are on opposite sides of engine. ive wiped and rechecked several times. its almost as if oil is held up in dipstick tube.
