!988 Subaru GL Wagon

Ok hopefully I can finally find an answer. I have a 1988 Subaru GL wagon.
Everyone keeps telling me it's a Turbo, I assure you this car is not a 4wd Turbo.
It also has an all digital instrument panel, sunroof, and power everything.
Please what am I missing here. Please don't tell me it's a 4wd turbo because it
is neither.

OK. I won't tell you what it is. If you want an expert opinion, take a photo of the engine and post it here and I will settle this issue for you.

Not a turbo. Turbo models have badging that say TURBO or TURBO 4WD on doors, back, and also have a very prominent air intake pipe that says the same
