Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drive a 1998 Honda Accord LX. today while my engine was running (cold) i saw
sparks/lightning inside the distributer. I pushed the wired thought would be a lose
connection but still getting lighning/spark. I have not change my wires+ plugs lately.
Any suggestion?

you probably have carbon buildup in the cap. the spark is arcing on the carbon. changing the cap and rotor should fix the problem. I would go ahead and do a full tune-up while you are at it.
