scraping noise

My 1999 honda civic dx is makes a scraping noise loud sound when in turn
the steering wheel to the right then goes away, been told by friends different
things brakes , jvc joints , struts please advise cant afford to take it to the shop
so i need to know more or less what it could be to fix dont want to fix the
wrong thing thanks

If just making the noise when you turn it sounds like the tire is rubbing against something maybe something in the fender well has come loose.
