2011 dodge journey drivers side window controls not working!

Asked by JourneyCJTR Nov 15, 2019 at 09:46 PM about the 2011 Dodge Journey SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a used 2011 Dodge journey SXT and the
warrenty wasnt worth the paper it was printed on, the
most recent issue I've had that i haven't been able to figure
out is the drivers side window and mirror controls dont
work, at all. They were always touchy and worked when
they wanted but that has since stopped and now i have no
controls what so ever. The back windows have also lost
power to their switches and cant roll down, but the
passenger side control works for that window. Can
somebody please help me. I have already put so much
money into this vehicle im at a loss and need to be able to
move my mirrors / control my locks from my side AT
LEAST.

Run a jumper wire from your battery + to the control switch. Take the control switch out, leave the power connection plugged in. Touch the power wire with jumper wire from battery. It shall restore some power so it will start back working.
