How do I remove the driver side door panel

1 Answer

the armrest has two phillips head screws... remove them...separate the hardboard from the steel with a machete if you have one...no a butterknife will do, but to pry the hardboard free snapping the X-mas tree fasteners as some call them....kind of a "reverse poisons ratio" affair for fastening the hardboard...sometimes the fastener rips free...spot of silicone caulk fixes 'er right up...pry up towards your face and the seal that holds the inside track will pull with the hardboard...peel back the waterproof plastic liner to expose the troubled parts....order the broken pieces and replace---reverse and all will be right with the world~
