Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 Honda Civic has shown 0 signs of any
problems. It was sitting undriven for under 3
months. Car in that time would fire right up without
hesitation. I went to drive it the other day. Made it
about 3 to 4 miles. Going up a hill all of the sudden
I loose all momentum and car dies. Now it won't
start. Battery is brand new. It was late and little
visibility I checked spark and do not think I have
spark. Any good suggestions on the problem????

My guess would be a gummed up fuel system. Double check the spark issue.

Don't you think that it would have at least sputtered or bogged down in that situation???

Check for fuel at the engine. When you turn the key on do you hear the fuel pump hum?
