2006 LBZ Duramax Electrical Issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My trans temp, oil pressure, battery, coolant temp,
fuel gauge will turn on but return to zero after start
up, abs light is on, battery light is on, air bag light
on, gear selector won’t indicate what gear I’m in,
can’t lock or unlock doors, can’t roll windows up or
down, radio will turn on but won’t play audio,
headlight and taillights work fine, starts up no
problem, glow plugs work, drives like normal,
speedo and tachometer work.

Anyone have this issue, any info or where to start
diagnosing would be greatly appreciated.

First check your fuses. Also check your fuse box under the hood for any mouse infestation. Also inspect wiring in engine and in vehicle for any chaffing and broken wires.
