Why my alarm will not go off. the battery is dead and when i jump start the alarm is still on

my alarm will not go off when I try to jump start the car. My battery went dead and when I tried to jump it , the alarm continues to go off.

When a vehicle looses main power the security is automatically set to full on, so you will need to test, recharge or replace the battery then run the shut down protocol listed in the owners manual, that should stut off the warning horn. If it doesn’t then you will need to have the dealer do a complete reset on the security system, you will need to have all the keys to the vehicle also so they can make sure the system can read the access chips.
