Hi Chille, The first thing you should look into is a cold air intake. They are available on many sites on the web and, although I have never done it, they are relatively easy to install. You can also change the cars exhaust system to add a little more horsepower. One piece of advice would be to not buy the cheap parts for the project. Most people generally thing that it can cost you more in upkeep and maintenance to buy the cheaper parts. Good luck!
