2003 Ford focus se wont start after hot

Asked by GuruL4T3G Mar 17, 2019 at 10:33 PM about the 2003 Ford Focus SE Comfort with Zetec

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had the heater core replaced the day before. I
gave it a tune up, spark plugs, wires, coil pack, and
both 02 sensors. Took it for several test drives and
it did great. I thought the car was going to make it
after all.

Today I was driving it for 2 hours, it was
maintaining temps just fine. (About 100 miles
since servicing) I pulled over to adjust something
in the cab and while idling, it died.
It wouldn't start back up. Just crank and crank and
crank.
Battery is good.
Alternator is good
Fuel filter was replaced 800 miles ago.
Full tank of gas.
No codes displayed.

I was able to get it started but it sounded awful.
I'm stumped.

Also, when I had the car towed, these parts shook loose from the engine... I didn't see it leaking any fluids though
