Is it normal for my BMW X5 to stalls since its a hybrid?

Asked by Brhoom6080 May 28, 2020 at 05:35 AM about the 2016 BMW X5 xDrive40e AWD

Question type: General

My bmw x5 xdrive40e hybrid truck Stalls
when in drive mode when I don’t accelerate
the gas (it goes forward but really slowly, (also
the same when in reverse), and when driving
at high or medium speed and then slow down
for a turn or something it feel that it’s giving
up and it doesn’t want to retract back up, i’ll
have to force it by accelerating! I don’t know if
this is normal because it’s hybrid but it’s really
annoying.

I can't say for sure, but I assume that's normal for a hybrid. I feel the process should be a little more seamless though. As much as I hate suggesting this, it may be a good idea to ask the dealer, especially if you're still in warranty.
