Replace driver's side headlight

Asked by lorij64 Oct 05, 2010 at 02:58 PM about the 2004 Honda Civic EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is near impossible. I have tiny hands and still can't get in there to replace the light. Any suggestions? Kinda crappy of Honda to make this so difficult some folks feel like the only option is to have at the Honda dealership do it :-(

If your replacing the bulb, look behind the light, you will see a black ring, turn it counter clockwise, and pull out. You will then be able to pull out the bulb. Be careful NOT to touch the bulb with you hands. It WILL blow! Install, plug back in, put black ring back on, turn clockwise and your done.
