Battery cold cranking amps

Asked by Timothy Jul 26, 2018 at 10:48 PM about the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Work Truck Double Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

About a month ago my 2016 chevy Silverado was
having trouble starting when I would turn the key it
would eventually start after a few times. So I took
it in and they told the battery had low Cold cranking
amps. So I replaced the battery and it didn't have a
problem form about a month and then it started
doing the rough start again. Any ideas? A short
somewhere?

Possible parasitic battery drain. Look up how to find one on the web but since you have a warranty why not let the dealer handle it?
