Found Rust/Corrosion underneath car. What should I do?

Asked by Jazz87945 Dec 16, 2016 at 09:54 AM about the 2016 Nissan Murano SV AWD

Question type: General

The car is brand new , less than 1400 Kms now.  I am very unfamiliar with
vehicles in general so I don't really know what I am looking at. I didn't expect
to see rust on a new car, but is this normal? It looks very corroded and needs
to be changed. Pics below

Would appreciate the help,

Thanks

When was this car manufactured, and what state is it from?

You have a rust through warranty on your car but you should hose off salty water from the wheels wells and underneath the car regularly.

It is a 2016 model and I live in Ontario Canada. Should this be removed or replaced? What it damage the vehicle if left for to long? Thanks for the advice

I have corrosion on my trunk from behind the metal decal - - 2016 Nissan Maxima. Very disappointed given what I paid for it.
