Honda Accord 2005

Asked by Brady May 28, 2017 at 11:10 AM about the 2005 Honda Accord EX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just put a new engine in my 05 Honda Accord and
everything worked until we switched the battery. Upon
switching the battery the transmission isn't shifting gears
on its own and tries to start in 2nd on takeoff. Also the
radio after putting the code in only stays on for about 10
minutes then loses power. None of these problems were
present until the battery was switched, not even the
transmission issues. Any suggestions?

Check for loose grounds. And also power. Most likely a loose ground. Check all around the battery.
