Can you replace a forester touring bumper with an XT style bumper? Is there any affect on the performance?

I need a new bumper on my 2016 Subaru forester and am interested in getting the nicer XT style. Any issues with this?

The turbo makes the XT go faster not the bumper. I am guessing that you could change yours out to the turbo style without a lot of trouble. You will need to have it painted to match so I would talk to a body shop as they can make the change and do it right so that everything fits correctly.

Shoot, I was hoping it would go faster with a new bumper:) Some parts dealers are saying not to do it because of the air intake for the turbo. Also need to confirm the fog lights will fit. Thanks for your help.
Well the air intake would just be for looks and you would need the proper turbo fog lights if they are not the same as the regular ones.
That change will probably cost you a couple of thousand dollars. Why not spend that on a real Turbo car?
