Subaru MPG and milage data logger/calc needs reboot after battery swap

after battery replacement the MPG calculator and data logging vanished.  How
do I reboot this function?

A mechanic said after a while it should come back.  Over 100 miles driven.  Still
waiting.

That should not have happened if the person that worked on it installed the saver tool that plugs into the OBD 2 port during battery replacement. So now it sounds like you will need the dealer to re-flash the computer systems to bring it back.

That should not have happened, did they not use the memory saver tool before disconnecting main power? So now you will need the dealership to look at it and it may need a system reflash.
