2016 Legacy Makes Cricket/High Frequency Rattling Noise

I noticed that whenever after a stop, if I step on the accelerator, it will make -
what almost sounds like - a chirping, or a cricket noise.  It is a high frquency
rapid rattling noise.  It goes away after it reaches a higher rpm.  It may be
nothing, but I am not sure if this is something I need to take it into the
dealership for. Anyone have any ideas?

It's almost always a slipping sepentine belt. The replacement belt is very slightly shorter (6PK2195) so fits tighter (even on its self-adjuster). Takes only 10 minutes, so DIY. Even quicker might be to clean the idler pulley surfaces of grime, but the OE longer belt stretches anyway and will chirp intermittently. Easy peasy....
