Why would a van just quit and show the battery??

Asked by Alisha_2006 Nov 16, 2020 at 01:09 PM about the 2016 Chrysler Town & Country Touring FWD

Question type: General

The battery light comes on but the battery and alternator
have been tested and read good. Charged the battery and it
went down the road a little and quit again. Why would it do
that?

Were the alternator and battery tested on the car or were they removed from the car and bench tested? If removed, check the belt that drives the alternator and clean any wire connections at the alt, bat, and starter.
