What is the most reliable off road worthy vehicle?

What is the most reliable off road worthy vehicle? I would love a Jeep Cherokee but I don't trust AM reliability.

I would get a 4WD pickup such as the F150. This choice really depends on what type of off road driving you plan on doing.

Incidentally American Motors does not make Jeep. AM stopped making Jeeps around 1987. Fiat now does! Ugh!
