radiator fan on 2016 chevy tahoe keeps running

The radiator fan on our 2016 Tahoe just started continuously running and then
stays on for a few minutes after the car is turned off. There are no warning
lights and the temperature gage shows no heat in the engine. Any ideas would
be greatly appreciated

Is ECM programmed to do this to keep running a few minutes after shutoff? Sticking fan relay? Is car running hotter? Fresh coolant? Old thermostat? Low coolant?

Bump fan relay while they are running and engine cool may stop fans if it’s the relay ,Is vehicle shifting correctly low coolant can do this to trans and fans. Last but not least thermostat may be sticking . It’s nothing major something reflectively small I would think. Good Luck with your Tahoe they are good trucks.
