Driver's seat resetting on startup

Asked by May 02, 2017 at 07:16 PM about the 2016 Buick LaCrosse FWD

Question type: General

OK. My mom just bought a 2016 Buick Lacrosse.
She asked for my help finding the button to choose
the "easy exit" option.  We found it. She was
overjoyed.  When she started the car up again,
however, the driver seat reset itself and she had to
press and hold the number 1 preset driver button
to put her seat back into position.  When she
turned the car off and opened the door, it did the
easy exit.  So, we tried it again.  Turn the car on, the
seat goes crazy.  Just wondering if maybe this is a
glitch, or something she'll have to go through each
time, if the easy exit is on?  She turned it off, and
the driver seat is still resetting itself every time she
turns on the car, so we're kinda lost, and there's no
page in the manual for this sort of thing....

Anything anyone can suggest, she's so upset over this. Are we going to have to factory reset, and go back and redo all of her settings? Is it a computer glitch that the dealer will have to get serviced? I've been searching high and low for over 24 hours and can't find any kind of answers, anywhere.
