1994 gmc sonoma pickup, will not start.

1994 gmc sonoma pickup, turns over but
will not start.  I hear the fuel pump,  it will run
if I add fuel myself. Where is the relay. Could
it be the problem?

I would carefully depress the schrader valve on the fuel rail first to see if the rail is pressurized with the key on. Eye protection is advised. Then check the FP pressure regulator, its connectors and the relay for if it has one. If you can hear the pump, its relay is working.
