My 2016 Ford Explorer interior lights

My 2016 Ford Explorer interior lights won’t
turn off. I’m at the movies with my kids and
the lights won’t turn off.
I have the hatch back door open

Close the hatch. Ther 's probably a plunger type switch that the hatch keep down/off when its closed-just like on the other doors.

Close the hatch to see if it goes out. If so, there's most likely a plunger-type switch somewhere in the door opening that stays compressed (the off position) whenever the hatch is closed, and extends (the on position) when the door is open. The other doors have them too.
