What do you do when you can no longer get a factory part?

Asked by Randy Nov 20, 2020 at 09:03 PM about the 2001 Ford Focus ZX3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have spent ten days all day, 1400.00, and did everything a Ford MasterTech
told me to do to fix my car. And the OBD computer agreed with the Master
Tech. I have purchased every part dealing with fuel delivery, air filter, MAF
sensor, and everything else possible to deal with this issue. Car runs perfect
at idle and through maybe 3000 rpm. Then it just bogs and loses power.
Someone must know what is wrong with this car! I also replaced the catalytic
converter.
