Flexfuel issues

Fiance "inherited" 2015 Ford Focus SE, 4cyl E85
flex fuel. We've been using 87 in fuel system since
she got it, and Everytime we fill it, it takes forever
to start, gotta rev the motor to get & keep it
running, & hope it doesn't die when put into gear
(auto tranny)... After we get it to run, and drive, it's
fine, till we go to fill it again! Wtf? Please help. TIA

Either the evap system. More likely I would think fuel pump

Sounds like the purge valve in the EVAP system is stuck open. When this happens raw fuel can be forced into the engine causing it to be flooded when refueling. This should set a trouble code and trigger the check engine light. To help get you started hold the accelerator pedal to the floor while cranking. This puts the computer in clear flood mode.
