What size or part number is the bolt the mounts the belt tensioner arm in 1995 Gm Suv blazer/jimmy

Asked by rwh531 Jun 05, 2018 at 03:11 AM about the 1995 GMC Jimmy 4 Dr SLT 4WD SUV

Question type: Car Customization

The bolt holding my belt tensioner on snapped and I need a replacement.

Think its a 3/8th diameter roughly 4 inches long and is only threaded about a
3rd of the way up the shaft. Would prefer to buy a proper replacement but will
settle with anything that gets me back on the road.

Go to your local parts store and ask what's original, they may have it

Go to an O'Reillys they will have that exact bolt that will fit perfectly and you can just buy the one not a whole pack of them should cost you less than 7 doll hairs.
