How often/far do I need to drive my 2015 Prius in order to be sure the battery won't run down?

I'm abroad for 4 months and have left my 2015 Prius with a friend.  He is driving it around the block (approx 1/2 mile) once a week to make sure the battery doesn't run down.  Is that enough?

From what im reading this is enough, but allot of people that are gone for long periods are using trickle charger. They say that there is a mood that will shut down the car completely after two weeks preventing the battery from draining...
