how to program the blend door actuator?

I've never had to "program" one and I have changed a couple in explorers. I suspect they work in the same fashion as a power window motor. When it senses resistance at one point or another it shuts off automatically.

My question exactly. Power window motors do not work the same as they have up/down limit switches that prevent the motor from jamming at one end or another. I can find no callout of limit switches or position sensors on the blend door so there is only one other way the car can know when to stop driving the motor, and that is sensing an over current situation in the actuator motor as the door comes to a stop and jams the motor. This whole system is a secret black box that is probably built around a bad design in hopes of disguising it. The actuator motor driving against an air door that is at it's limit is also what probably breaks the teeth off the gears in the actuator.
