Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 F150. Both of my rear
passenger power windows will not work
when using the switches the respective
doors.  The windows will, however, work
when using the switch in the drivers door.  No
issues at all with front passenger window.
What are the possible problems? Thank you.

Make sure you are getting power to the rear switches, if so I would suspect the switches

Is the lock button set on the driver door switch , there is usually a button to lockout the switches in back so kids cant play with the windows

I should add that the child lock is not activated, yet it acts as though it is engaged. both rear doors stopped working at the same time. Justin i do have power at the rear switches, i am going to swap out the switch from passenger front to see if it is the switch. otherwise is suspect it might be a faulty master switch? window lock is faulty?

You do not have to swap switches. Remove the door panel from the back door, locate/ remove the switch, and use a 12V test light or multi-meter. Have someone operate the switch while you check to see of the switch is getting voltage. You can also check the operation of the switch by using the multi-meter set to continuity. ONce connected to the contacts, depress the switch and you should get a reading on the meter. If you do, it's good.

OJ- i have constant power at the switch, assume it is for leds. I don't get positive result when testing the rear switches and testing for power. I do get a positive result when testing rear switch and operating from the front driver's side switch, on both the up wire for the up operation and down operation. It almost appears that the window lock is engaged, yet the button the driver's door does not indicate it is engaged. Additional Help would be appreciated.

GA has a good point. If the master lockout was defective, the front passenger side window would not work. You could jump the lockout switch, but make very sure you are jumping the right two wires with a small piece of wire. A color coded wiring diagram is needed. If the condition is still present, you probably have an electronic problem. REquiring the ability to read/view/ and test the window components in the car.

Replaced the driver's side master switch, and issues are gone. the window lock is designed to only affect the rear passenger windows. by design it does not lock out the Front passenger controls. thanks for all the help diagnosing, etc.
