So I want to know if I can put a 94 GMC
Jimmy 4x4 s15 transmission in my 96
Jimmy sle I can't find very much online
about it but i do know the mattered are both
a 4.3L 4x4

No because the '94 is controlled by a OBD1 computer and the '96 is controlled by a OBDII computer.

You need a 96 or later 4l60e from another 4x4 s10 or blazer/jimmy. 94 had a different plug and won't operate with the 96 pcm
