No emergency key

So you don't have the emergency key/metal blade at all? And to top that off, the FOB and/or car battery is dead? You can call a lock-out service like AAA, a tow company, or the police, they'll help you get back inside the vehicle, but then you'll still have to be towed, or get a jump start. If you're handy (and in your own driveway), you could jack car up enough to attach jumper cables to the starter motor to provide enough electrical power to operate locks again, but that would still require a working FOB. This is where having AAA really pays off, as does keeping a spare key where you can access it in emergencies.
