Check on the inside of the fuel filler door and or the owners manual for the octane rating that is recommended.

The 2015 Jeep Cherokee uses regular unleaded fuel. It should have an octane rating of 87 or higher. While using the higher rating won't cause damage to Your engine, however, it isn't recommended, due to the fact that the more expensive option is unnecessary.
