Can I change the break pads while still under warranty?

With dealer rates so high, will I void the warranty if I replace the pads
myself?

I have a 2015 Outback with 65,000 km.  On my 60,000 km check the tech
mentioned the from pads were at 3.0 mm.  I did have the rear ones replaced
by the dealer ($$$$ !!)  I have been doing my own brakes since I was
eighteen, changing pads is a piece of cake.

The rotors are good, no glazing and still thick enough as I measured them
both.

It won't void the warranty unless something goes wrong with your work.

Brake pads are not considered warranty as far as the dealer goes they are routine maintenance.

Thanks a bunch All. I'm not used to having a car still under warranty. Will get new ones and swap them out before next oil change.
