Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes when I press the gas pedal it
won’t accelerate and I try again and it
catches. It’s happened to me over 5 times.
My son says when it does that to him he
turns the car off and accelerates just fine.

Replace you air filter but first clean your throttle body there may be a lot of carbon use a choke carburetor spray cleaning cost about 5 dlrs
