My car will not shut off.

My car will not shut off. Tried putting the gear in all
the gears then back in park. The gear display says
it is in park but the HUD said shift to park. Is there
a way to turn my car off without  unplugging the
battery.

Does the shifter feel nice and tight, or does it feel a little loose or sloppy when you move it? It's possible the shift cable has come a bit loose somewhere and it's not shifting all the way to park, but rather hanging between park and reverse.
