Wjy does my 1998 GMC Jimmy use so much gas?

Engine runs VERY strong. Check engine lite is on. The dealer who
sold it to me sad d he checked the code and it was misfire cylinder 3
& 5. There is no rumbling. Runs smothe. Drnks gas at a rare of
about 10 per gallon. WHAT DI I DOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

as stated check the plugs, cap and rotor. i would also recommend doing a fuel pressure and leakdown test. Failing fuel injectors are common.
