Is it Worth Keeping my 2015 6.7 F250?

Asked by Clark Jan 27, 2021 at 09:36 AM about the 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL Crew Cab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had some bizarro electrical issues in the vehicle that have left me in
limp mode twice, once last summer and again this winter. It seems like it's
just a matter of bad/chewed wiring (drawbacks of living in rural New
England).

The truck only has 180k and hardware-wise is in good shape w/ minimal
rust. Got the whole thing with a steel flatbed for 20k. My thought
though is if this thing is going to cost me 2k every time I have some bizarre
wiring problem, should I drop the cash to get it rewired or just get rid of it?
I'm a young guy and just afraid I'm holding on to it because I like it, not
because it makes financial sense.

Price a new wiring harness or wiring repairs. Install wiring protector on the exposed wiring.
