Honda civic si 2006 I turn the key it cranks but it doesn't want to start it's almost like its not getting gas. Fuel pump is working. have you heard of this happening to anybody

Have you checked the car to make sure fuel is at the fuel rail,and or spark?Just because you hear pump,doe,s not mean it ,s pumping.

I have 06 civic si also and have the same problem , I have spark and fuel, but if I do not hold the gas while cranking , my plugs will be covered in fuel
