"massive air flow," do you mean Mass Air Flow sensor? The MAF can be cleaned using a product called "mass air flow sensor," be sure that's all you use as it can be damaged by other types of cleaning products. If it is damaged then you should replace it. In fact cleaning the rest of the throttle body may be in order, that may help alleviate your problem.

Can my cadillac converter be clogged idles fine just wont go faster then 28mph and rpms wont go over 2200 rather im in park n or drive has anyone else had this problem dont wanna buy a bunch of parts if its not the right one help only got 130k on the mortor

Yes, a clogged catalytic converter could cause a problem like this, do you have any other symptoms like misfiring or hesitation? A muffler shop might be able to diagnose a bad cat. That's an expensive option, I'd try cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body first.

Cleaning the MAF may not help as it may be defective. As Ken suggested try cleaning first.
